Mexico. An initiative of integration of the security sector that was proposed 10 years ago before the Mexican Ministry of Economy, is today close to reality.
Salvador Gómez, president of the Latin American Security Association (ALAS), Chapter Mexico, explained that the creation of the National Chamber of the Security Industry seeks the representativeness of all disciplines of the sector, physics, electronics, computers, among others. "This chamber will also allow the defense of the interests of all security entities as a basic economic sector," he said.
In this work, Anainse, National Association of the Security Industry and ALAS Mexico have worked together with associations of the topic such as Security Forum, Mexican Society of Guardospaldas, Amesis, CNSP - National Security Council, Euroamerican Security Corporation, and other entities. Nevertheless they require the support and collaboration of all Mexican security companies to carry out this project and achieve an approach with the authorities and the Legislative Power so that the regulation and standardization that the sector requires is established.
