Latin America. Milestone Systems recently launched its 10.0a Device Pack, which supports MOBOTIX's MOVE camera series.
MOBOTIX MOVE is an independent line of products that offers customers everything from a single source. The word "MOVE" refers to the use of mobile mechanical parts in cameras, which means that MOBOTIX has shied away from its previous product policy, which was to only offer decentralized video systems to the market. The products of the MOBOTIX MOVE line are the first motorized devices and constitute the first line of Mobotix cameras that comply with the ONVIF standard.

The Milestone Systems 10.0a Device Pack also supports the new firmware of the Mx6 camera series from MOBOTIX. Mx6 cameras use a powerful CPU that processes up to 34 frames per second in full high definition (full HD). This allows an even better capture of fast movements. The camera line has more capacity for software applications, such as motion analysis in 3D and the capture of license plates in the camera.

Following this release, Milestone Systems is compatible with more than 7.000 devices and the 40% of its controllers are now integrated through ONVIF, an open industry forum that provides and promotes standardized interfaces for the effective interoperability of physical security products with IP technology.
