U.S. The ninth edition of the ALAS Management Summit (June 26 and 27 in Miami) is up to date with the needs of professionals and companies in the Security Industry. We are living a transition between the real and the virtual and now the inhabitants of Latin American cities are not only affected by insecurity in the streets, but also by cybercrime that directly impacts the safety of people, institutions and companies.
The conference program is divided into three major thematic blocks: management and leadership, cybersecurity and electronic security and an axis focused on physical security. The management and leadership block will offer different experiences with international experts, discussion panels and workshops.
Management and leadership
The first day of the conference will be attended by Ely Magendzo who arrives from Chile to present the keynote address: How to empower my people, the purpose as an engine of efficiency, which will explain the management applied to people in a team. The key is to identify the purpose of the members of that team.
Within this framework is also the panel "Protecting my business: the voice of users", which will be attended by Kael Malo, IBM Regional Security Manager and César Avendaño, Director of Resource Protection of Grupo Éxito, this panel will give a perspective on the needs and challenges that users of different vertical markets have.
The panel "Facility management, challenges and opportunities in security", moderated by Alberto Álvarez, CEO of ALAS and in which will participate as panelists Juan Daniel García, head of Infrastructure and Operations in Ágora Bogotá, Convention Center, and Carlos Saavedra, Manager General of ACEIS SA and Facility Manager of the Year 2018, will be the opportune space to discuss the challenges proposed by the market and how to deal with them.
This year, as usual, a day of workshops will be offered during the two days, in which attendees who previously register, may attend: The recurring business and subscription is the present and the future. Are you ready for it ?, taught by Daniel Banda, CEO of the Softguard company and member of the Board of Directors of ALAS, who will show practical advice to enter the pocket of the clients and multiply the sales of services using the basic rules of the Scalability An ideal space for companies that have monitoring as their commercial and productive activity.
And to close this leadership block, the second day will offer the keynote address, "Do you sell security? learn to measure the return on your investment ", directed by Julio César González, Security Specialist Consultant, who will explain why the sustainability and prosperity of the business depend on how the allocated budget is invested and the effectiveness of it. In this conference we will talk about the return on investment and the key concepts of measuring it.
