Internet change our lives. Today many of our functions, tasks, appointments, including business, depend heavily on this platform. It is clear that this technology has led us to progress, we are now much better informed, we can control what we see, even can buy almost anything you want.

There is no doubt that the Latin American Security Association (ALAS) has been doing a valuable work that is worth highlighting, and should be taken as an example for other unions in Latin America that are also struggling to maintain the electronic security industry.

The last two years have been convulsed for most of the countries of Latin America, with situations that have brought direct consequences to the electronic security industry, affecting the sustained growth that it had brought years ago.

After leaving behind the two main fairs that have interference in the Latin American region (Expo Seguridad México and ISC West 2017), many technological innovations remain in the retina of the attending public that is immersed in the electronic security industry.

After a couple of months of this year, there are many expectations and projects that we all have in the electronic security industry. In this 2017 there will be a period of change in some countries, where optimism hopes to overcome uncertainty and opportunities for problems.
